PRE-THEATRE MENU

Ideal before heading to Chichester Festival Theatre down the road, our pre-theatre menu runs Wednesday to Saturday (including Saturday lunchtimes).

From £25 for two courses or three courses for £30 - for orders between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

Due to popular demand for our Pre Theatre and Early Bird Menu we’ve gone and upgraded our offering.

You can now choose between our Course by Course option and our Small Plates Sharing option. That means either go for a starter, main course and pud, or share three of our small plates per person as a feasting meal - and of course tag pudding on should you wish. 

Plus, with matineés in mind, our menu is now available at lunchtime from 12pm on Saturdays as well as between 5.30 and 6.30pm Monday to Saturday. 

From £25 for two courses and £30 for three, smaller dishes may include South Coast mackerel with samphire and Nutbourne tomatoes; hasselback potatoes with sour cream, chive and caviar; ham hock with baby gem, piccalilli and aioli; and local courgettes with feta, lemon and olive oil. Among the big plates are Goodwood farm steak and chips; cauliflower with Zhoug, hazelnuts and golden raisins and always our local catch of the day. Puddings feature Sussex summer berries and sorbets; cheesecake with pistachio and local raspberry; affogato and local cheeses.
